Naked DSL
I found out about Naked DSL last week. Basically it's a new product from Iinet where you can have ADSL internet through your home phone line, but are not forced to pay for home phone line rental. Instead you set up an internet phone which gives you free national and local calls with no monthly fee!
For us it's going to mean a saving of about $30 each month. Has anyone else used it yet?

Yep - we're on it and quite a few friends are too. The line rental saving was certainly worth it. We were offline for almost 2 weeks waiting for it all to get sorted - that was the only downer. Very much worth it!
The plans sounds awesome. Having to buy a new modem and sign onto a 24 month contract not so awesome.
I'm one of Libby's friends who has also signed up. We were only completely offline for a few days as iinet provided us with dial-up while our broadband was down. We're very happy with how much we're saving and their service has been good.
